Winter is done and spring is here. So is the wedding season.
Last month I had this sweet couple standing in front of my camera on their wedding day and I thought they had to be at least a bit insane. In a good way. I mean in a REALLY good way.
First of all. It takes a bit of guts to be dragged up and down Mt Victoria paths in a stormy weather, freezing your butt off in those hideous gusts and slight rain. (I promised to photoshop their noses back to normal color if needed but they didn’t turn blue after all)
Second of all – most couples would’ve have been at least a bit disappointed if their outdoor garden ceremony had to be cancelled due to the ugly weather and have their small, intimate ceremony in a friend’s house instead. These two didn’t care less. They just kept smiling.
Third and MOST of all – I thought all brides would’ve been absolutely furious if their wedding dress was missing on their wedding day! Like hers was. She did NOT get her wedding dress!!! And what did she do? She just kept smiling. Smiling? No wedding dress and she just smiles. I mean who does that??? I am so amazed by your chilling, relaxed attitude Larythzza! You are a bit insane you know – in an amazing way!
And one more thing.
There’s nothing unusual to meet someone online and fall in love. That happens. A lot.
But when you meet someone online from the opposite side of the globe, save up huge amount of money to fly over to meet your friend for the first time live – and seven years later you’re still here on that very same first trip. That’s what I call true love! Heck of a first trip.
I am so happy for you L&J. I think you have one of the sweetest love stories I’ve ever heard (sorry I can’t write it up as perfect as you two are)
I wish you all the best on your journey together as a married couple for the rest of your lives! I think your Day was pretty sweet.
