Martinborough wedding at Tironui Farm

It’s another wedding day and once again Wellington shows what Wellington does quite well: rain and storm!
This time the prediction didn’t fail and it really did rain all day through. Only to give us a little break during getting ready’s and then going ahead full-on from the ceremony throughout the night as far as causing a power outage just when the first dance was supposed to begin.

Having the wedding at the beautiful Tironui Farm in Martinborough meant that it was supposed to be an outdoor wedding in the middle of beautiful olive trees, surrounded by alpacas and horses with an amazing backdrop of those rolling Wairarapa mountains. In a sunshine, nice & warm.

But that sunshine & warm wasn’t happening.
The very last minute, instead of a Plan B, these two amazing human beings decided to proceed with the original plan despite the rain – and oh wow, they rocked it!!! And I love how they did it, with smiles on their faces, looking absolutely amazing all day through.
Riding on a four wheeler across the farm without no fear getting all soaking wet and muddy, standing and freezing in the pouring rain having their pics taken and doing their first dance lighted up only with mobile phones cause that was the only source of light left due to power outage. And as I said – they ROCKED IT!

Vicky & Josh, you two are amazing! Not only by being such a beautiful couple but you also amazed me by willing to go against the weather and made your day even more unique.
I wish you two all the best in your journey together and thank you so much for having me to witness your day. And what a day it was!
