A bit chilly? A bit windy? That would be such an understatement of the conditions on Larissa & David’s wedding day. It isn’t called Windy Welly for nothing, and those super gusty northerlies made sure that their planned ceremony spot on the cliff-top would be a no-go. It was impossible to even stand still, no way the original plan could go on.
So, only less than an hour to starting time, off they go to find an alternative spot in hopes of not going indoors and have their ceremony in the location so meaningful for them.
And down the bay, a bit more sheltered corner was found. Still windy, still chilly, but at least no fear of no one been flown off the cliff. And married they got. This beautiful couple, parents of three beautiful children, surrounded by their families and friends. The wind stealing her veil over and over again, the bridal party holding onto flower arrangements, and the celebrant trying to raise her voice over the wind for everyone to hear them saying the magic words.
Larissa & David, you mastered the weather and made it so easy. No one would ever believe, based on your pics, how challenging the weather actually was. But you rocked it! Just like you do your marriage.
May all your years be filled with love and happiness. Thank you for having me to document your special day, I am so honored you did.
